
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, honor the contributions of heroic women, and unite strength for progress, the “Radiant in Red, Writing New Chapters — Her Power · Sister Ming Stories” women’s presentation event, jointly hosted by the Sanming Women’s Federation, Sanming Federation of Trade Unions, and Yong’an Women’s Federation, was successfully held at Heqichang on September 2.
The event brought together outstanding female representatives from various industries, who gathered to listen to inspiring stories and draw strength from role models.
Revisiting the Flames of War, Drawing Strength for the Future

At the Heqichang New Era Women’s Lecture Hall, presenters of the Her Power · Sister Ming Stories delivered speeches recounting wartime stories and modern tales of women’s perseverance, promoting the great spirit of resistance and showcasing the brilliance of women in the new era.
Wang Jie, with “Songs Amidst the Flames, Everlasting Mountains and Rivers,” recalled the resilient cultural front in Yong’an during the war years.
Yang Xi, in “The Shining Tax Emblem and Blossoming Brilliance,” highlighted the professionalism and dedication of frontline female tax officers.
Yu Yuehui, through “Crafting Dreams with Dedication: Innovation and Achievement in Young Pioneer Work,” sincerely illustrated the spirit of craftsmanship and educational mission.
Zheng Shuling shared how the Yong’an Cultural and Creative Park carries forward the red legacy and revitalizes cultural innovation.
Chen Lin, Secretary of the Heqichang Board Office, recounted the inspiring story of President Yu Yan, who has devoted herself to the green bamboo industry and forged ahead with entrepreneurial determination.
The presentations connected past and present, blending original aspiration with innovation. They deeply moved the audience and sparked strong resonance, fully showcasing the power and brilliance of women in both inheritance and advancement.


Singing “Blossoming China” Together, Celebrating an Era of Prosperity
Lai Yanping—Yong’an’s outstanding female volunteer and head of the Yudian Choir—led everyone in singing the heartfelt melody “Blossoming China.” Participants waved national flags and sang passionately, their voices echoing through the venue, expressing profound love for the motherland and reaffirming their determination to carry forward the wartime spirit and forge ahead on the new journey.

This event served both as a vivid lesson in history and a profound spiritual experience. Through the powerful and stirring presentations, participants gained a deeper understanding of the significance and contemporary value of the spirit of resistance, felt the shared bond of both sides of the Taiwan Strait in defending the nation, and were inspired by the moving stories of modern women who strive and excel across industries.
Everyone expressed their commitment to transforming this inspiration into concrete action—continuing the red legacy, carrying forward the spirit of perseverance, and making new contributions as women of the new era on the great journey ahead.
