On July 17th, Heqichang conducted a thematic training session titled "Analysis of Wood-Based Panel Classification and Introduction to Wood Veneer Processing Knowledge." The session was delivered by Cai Zhiming, Deputy General Manager of its subsidiary Xiamen Hoomax Home Technology Co., Ltd., for the company's "Spring  bamboo Shoot" trainees and relevant business departments. The training content was both profound and accessible, featuring systematic explanations of professional knowledge, a clear positioning of Hoomax's core business, and sincere sharing from a seasoned workplace mentor, leaving all participants greatly enriched.

Mr. Cai began by systematically outlining the five major categories of wood-based panels: solid wood board, blockboard, plywood, particleboard, and MDF (medium-density fiberboard). He analyzed each type in terms of material characteristics, advantages and disadvantages, and application scenarios, helping trainees build a comprehensive understanding. For example, solid wood boards offer a natural texture and are positioned as high-end; blockboard provides good stability and high cost-effectiveness; plywood excels in compression and moisture resistance with a uniform structure; particleboard suits large-scale production; and MDF features a smooth surface and flexible molding potential. He emphasized that accurately matching panel characteristics with application scenarios is key to ensuring home furnishing quality.

Discussing Hoomax's core business, Mr. Cai remarked with a smile that "many people mistakenly think we manufacture furniture." In reality, Hoomax specializes in the deep processing of panels, providing wood veneer solutions for leading home customization brands like GOLDENHOME and JOMOO. The company's core business focuses on wood veneer overlaying and paint finishes. Mr. Cai delved into the visual differences of wood veneer splicing techniques (such as book matching, reverse book matching, random matching) and shared key points for controlling temperature and humidity in panel storage, as well as the process flow for paint finishes. As Mr. Cai stated: "Our value lies in endowing panels with unique texture and aesthetics, enhancing their overall grade and market competitiveness."

In the final Q&A session, Mr. Cai, from the perspective of a workplace mentor, offered advice to the young trainees: "Maintain a state of continuous learning and dare to practice and take on challenges." He particularly emphasized the importance of communication: "Not only be courageous in expressing yourselves but also skilled in listening and collaborating. Cultivate inclusiveness and build a good network of interpersonal relationships—this will become valuable assets for your career development." These simple yet sincere suggestions deeply resonated with all the trainees present.
